I purchasedTickets online with my credit card. Was taken to another site where the only I continue to purchase tickets was the rewards site, and it made no mention of charges whatsoever, because it did not ask for credit card info. It had no fees attached to Entertainment RewardsI have been getting billed now for over 2 yrs. Now since Nov. 2005!
I just noticed it now. Thought it was another bill. I thought it was an extra charge for paying a bill online or another thing. It was smaller in comparison to the other amounts. I am a widow with 3 kids, that was trying to purchase concert tickets from Ticketmaster for my daughter, and had never bought them on line. I know for a fact that the entertainment rewards site had no mention of charges, and didn't ask for credit card info either.
And in order to continue to purchase tickets, I needed to enter name address, and email, but not request of credit card info. The Entertainment Rewards site had no mention of fees associated with them! I am in utter horror after finally figuring this out. The fact that they have been billing me $9.00 a month since Nov. 2005 made me sick to my stomach.
When I called their number they said I signed up for 30 day free trial, and that it would cost a month thereafter. I told them I did no such thing, and to cancel it1 They told me that I entered my email address, and a password. They said they would cancel it, but I don't trust them to stop it. I was ripped off, and I couldn't afford the extra money being taken out of my account.
I got coupon deals, didn't get any rewards, and I didn't ask for it. All I was trying to do is get my daughter some Green Day tickets!!! Boy did they really cost me in the end!!! I want to cry I am so upset that they ripped me off. I can't even fathom how much they took me for. From Nov. 2005 to FEB. 2007.. $9.00 a month... I am so mad it is hard to write this! I had to go on this alone.
Please someone help me get my money back. My kids and I got ripped off. The bank statement is sometimes so hard to understand when there is an abreviation. That is what helped the crime continue. I am waiting for the bank hours to call and make sure they stop the billing I sure hope it stops. Again please help. This money added up to alot. I feel so sick to my stomach since I found out... These criminals Entertainment Rewards need to be stopped, and Ticketmaster needs to be looked in to for being connected to them..
