I was going to see my guitar teacher play at Coffee Fusion. We had planned it for 2 months and were going to have a party afterward. The gig was booked 2 or 3 months prior but then they double booked it and gave the person they booked last the gig. My teacher was booked first but they totally dissed her and refused to pay her for the lost gig.
I've heard other people say they've done the same thing to them too. So if you're ever booked to play there, then why advertise it, when they just might tell you the day before that they booked somebody else in your place? I think Coffee Fusion SUCKS! And they totally diss their bands, break their promises to them, don't want to pay them. They just suck.
