I was contacted and more than 3 times to sign me up for a promotional offer. I enrolled on a trial basis the third time and i was guaranteed i would NOT incur ANY charge until my trial period was over. If at that point i decided to stay in the program, and i did not call to cancel, then and ONLY THEN they would bill my account.
But guess what? THEY BILLED me RIGHT AWAY and BEFORE i even received anything pertaining to the damn account. So i called to complain and ask for a refund.
I was told a letter—a "Check Authorizing Form", would be sent to me, this was between the 2nd and 3rd week of March. I should receive the letter in a few ys they said. Well... Today, june 8th, I still HAVE NOT RECEIVED anything at all.
I have been calling since march and every single time, two weeks apart to request a form be sent to me or i talk to a supervisor, and every time i am told the same thing, "you have to wait ma'am", "the form's already been sent to you ma'am", "call us on wednesday or friday ma'am".
I too did speak to a few that claimed to be supervisors and gave me the same nonsense about some investigation to be completed.
Again, today is june 8th and I am still waiting for that stupid form.
So i am filing this report and i am reporting them to the federal trade commission, and i am getting a lawyer involved.
