I bought a new Legacy Heritage mobile home in late 2008 to replace one lost to hurricane Ike. Big mistake. I have had nothing but trouble. The floors have humps, the walls are bowed, the hardi panel siding is cracked and there is black mold growing in the cracks. Legacy has been ordered by the State of Texas to fix this and even been fined for failure to do so. Meanwhile, I have a home that's rapidly becoming unlivable with no relief in sight. Anyone considering buying a Legacy mobile home would do well to remember my plight before making such a decision. I know I would certainly not have bought this one had I known what I know now.
