We moved into Miami Village Apts in mid Oct. We had to fill out a move in move out check list of all the things we found wrong with the apt., so we did such as 4 doors in the apartment wouldn't open or shut because they laid carpet and they were now too tall, the Dishwasher doesn't work, all the faucet knobs were covered in scum, the drinking water is calcified, the light fixture over the sink doesn't work correctly (flickers), the door to the entry of the complex was broken and it made our front hall very cold, and the hot water only works once in a while. To make matters worse November comes around and we find out our heating vents doesn't work in our bedroom nor in either of the bathrooms so right now it's relly cold in here and the repair guy never shows up to fix the problem, Getting out of bed is really a hassle because it's so cold on the outside of the blankets, to sit on a cold toilet seat isn' t pleasant and to step down on an icy cold floor (when the hot water is working) is a pain. Management is aware of the problem we also gave them a list of all the problems in writing but the maintenance guy slipped up and said they were lost.
