I feel as if I am being blackmailed

I've an issue with First Horizon. I've had a House Mortgage together for that previous 6 years; and not had a late-payment. I'm presently spending my mortgage online together. I obtained a notice from their store allowing me understand these were likely to begin getting a "comfort charge" of $11 later on. They did provide me other available choices which are 'free.' I will join their lender. Or provide them with my lender and account number to allow them to withdraw the cost from my bill. I'm as though I'm being blackmailed.

Their letter states "The regular automated draft plan provides a handy method to have your payment taken from your own checking or checking account instantly - helping you save the action of getting to contact us or move online every month to create your cost." When they wish to cost a "convenience charge" they ought to cost anybody who would like that 'comfort'. I'd choose to not have anybody have use of my banking account.

Why could they are doing this and contact it a "comfort charge"? The internet cost it's still available. Why cost me $11 to move cash from my consideration to theirs on my own but when I'd like them to complete it's free? Which makes no sense in my experience. Somebody there's being compensated a great deal to develop foolish suggestions to earn more income in the customer who's left with little option. So that they blackmail us.
