I had to file a claim with Colonial on my 2 1/2 year old Samsung Front loader washer because a code came up that read, "call for service". Washer is brand new, never had service and I did not think Colonial would turn down fixing it like they did our a/c, which cost us $6800.00 to fix. Well, I was wrong! Good old Colonial, who loves to take advantage of their contact that is vague and written to THEIR ADVANTAGE AND DENIED TO CLAIM! Listen to the loophole they used to CHEAT THEIR CUSTOMER AGAIN! Under Limitations of Liability, #17, it reads, " Colonial will not cove any repair, replacement, installation or modification of any covered system or appliance arising from a manufacturer's recall or defect of said covered items, nor any covered system or appliance while sill under any EXISTING manufacturers, distributor's or in home warranty.
Listen to colonial's excuse for not paying for my $25.00 part after i paid $60.00 to the contractor to have it diagnoised. My washer motor is still covered under the mfg warranty, nothing else on the washer is covered! Nothing! But since my motor is covered, loophole... They pay for nothing on the washer until it's 5 years old and there is no mfg warranty! Now, what a bunch of crap... Cheated again by colonial...
