Installed in 2009 a 3.5 ton unit and 31/2 yrs later stops cooling and the condenser coil needs to be replaced - part under warranty - but labor over $800 dollars!!! The unit sits right next to a 20yr old Rheem that has never broken down. Our home in Florida has always the thermostat set at 80 so it is not like we busted the a/c. Outrageous cheap quality. I suspect dealers profit from installing Trane units as the repair calls are surely to come.
