Bank of America Mortgage Department
Paid up-No deed documents returned

On 10/2 I paid up the remaining balance in a second mortgage credit account, in person with the bank at the Santee California Branch. Me and the Bank Branch manager agreed that the account was zeroed, and the line of credit would be closed. At the next billing cycle I received an "accout balance" document that showed my credit account still opened and I went to the branch again to settle this. After making clear that the account should be closed, she also promised that the deed documents would be sent to me from the corresponding bank department within a cou-ple of weeks.
It has been over 3 months now, and NO documents have come. What would it take to close this account and get my deed release documents sent as promised and needed for all other purposes?

Thank you very much for your possible assistance on this, as the more I deal with Bank of America (over the phone), or in person even, the more frustrated I get with it. BTW, Bof A was previously my bank for over 40 years...
