We have had problems with conseco since we have been with them not applying payments correctly, then telling us we were behind, or taking payments from checking accounts before they were supposed to then the check would bounce, in 2002 my husband was in a motorcycle accident, he was off work for 6 months without pay, i thought we had disability insurance on our mortgage, and when i called conseco they said we didnt, i asked them if we could work something out, well we didnt have the money they wanted us to have up front for them to help us, if i did we would have made teh payments, i kept in touch with them every month asking them for help, and they said there was nothing they could do, when he went back to work i asked for help and they told me no the house was in foreclosure, so needless to say we ended up filing bankruptcy and are losing our home that we have lived in for 10 years, i would never recommend anyone to get a mortgage from them, they were rude, called some days over 10 times a day, they called my neighbors and my family members and told them our situation, and i pay an astronomical amount of interest on the loan, which i was told i would be able to refinance after a year, and then they wouldnt let us, these people have harrassed us for years, and we have to move out of a home we have raised our kids in.
