South Florida slumlord Brad Banta (attorney FL bar id #0167470) is using illegal and unethical collections tactics. His employee Tillman Black called me at my place of business and I told him that I was not able to recieve personal calls. For several months now, under Bantas instruction, Tillman Black has continued to call my place of business and harass me. Bradford Banta has sent letters to my place of business and also to my employers personal house. I have asked several times for them not to call yet they keep calling. Today I was informed by Tillman Black that if I didn't come see him at his office he would have a police officer come and arrest me. It was my understanding that the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act protected me against such harrassment and a licensed attorney should be aware of the law.
