Campus Lodge Apartments attempted to make up charges one month after moving out. For example, they tried to charge me $110 for a missing screw on my chair. They also tried to charge me for an access card that I had already paid for, broken blinds, and the light globe? There were two light globes in my room when I moved in, and there was two when I moved out. Why was I charged for this!?
Also, my roomates and I complained multiple times about our Air conditioner not working properly and they failed to fix it everytime, claiming everything was fine. Our A. C could never fall below 78 degrees even when setting it to 70 degrees. A friend of mine who happens to know a lot about air conditioners simply cleaned all the dust and mold off of the A. C Coils and the A. C began working great. We were able to knock down the A. C to 72 degrees with out a problem. We were paying $160 extra per month because the A. C was overworking and running up our electric bill.
After explaining the A. C situation to the manager upon moving out, she was very rude and unprofessional and basically told us since our lease was up at 12:00 she didn't want to bother with us any more. I was a loyal tenant for 3 years, and never late on rent. I was appalled about how I was treated upon moving out.
Campus Lodge is a fraudulent apartment complex and their whole system is designed to take your money, even if the charges aren't warranted.
