The words of Doug T Floyd, "And You Shut Up in Court!" or I Will Take Every Penny You Have!"... Still echoes in my mind and the picture image of when he pulled me away from front of the court room door to behind other closed doors... So no one could hear him... Comes haunting back... As some distant memory that I want to put behind.
I had hired him to represent my legal rights... 2-years have passed since I fired him, which was in October. Today, I am no longer fearful of Douglas T Floyd, because he has no power over me, and I am no longer a hostage of his terrible legal practice... And besides I turned this whole mess to God long time ago, allowing him to be the final Judge.
I want everybody to know, that you Douglas T Floyd, you have defamed my character, reputation and you are not only a liar, you are a thief! What a Shame! Why did you block me from speaking the truth? Is my question. I am warning everybody, Doug T Floyd is an expert in betraying public trust and making legal profession to look bad.
I fired Douglas T Floyd when I started to realize something was not right with his legal representation. He continued to block me from talking to the judge and treated me as if I was a criminal! As a warning: " Doug T Floyd cares only about money. He puts his own money hungry interests above the clients issues and forgets he is supposed to apply law to protect his clients legal rights, or he simply does not know about the law.
Do not hire Doug T Floyd because he will wipe out your bank accounts, assets, car, truck anything he can get his hands on, even your home... Like what happened to me. Doug T Floyd tried to steal my Plano, Texas property. His neo-nazi attitude and twisted motivations can even get you deported out of the country if you are a Resident Alien... He will pressure you and tell you: " Shut Up or otherwise..." He messes up with vulnerable individuals who are seeking for legal help, and instead of providing that legal help for the distressed clients, he is busy with figuring out what assets there is for him rob from the potential clients... Who like myself got steered into his trap!
Doug T Floyd scammed me out of nearly $12,000.00, made my life a miserable living hell and he broke our Client Attorney Contract! Why did he do that? I believe that after I fired him, and he could not 'milk out' any more cash out of me, he then tried something else.
Behind my back: he went to the county appraisal district and tampered with public property records claiming that I had sold my house to him. What kind of business is he in? Legal or illegal?
I had no idea I was now living in the house owned by the attorney, who had never allowed me to speak in court... Is that why he told me to shut up??? So he could later get my property? On top of that my cases were accumulating in court.BY HIM!!! My life had turned into a huge mess. When I opened the 2007 property tax bill, I was in Shock! It came from Doug T Floyds home. I am trying to figure out how in earth Doug T Floyd got a hold off my personal property tax bill, and that is how and when I found out, I had sold my house to him. I can not explain how I felt... Its beyond words...
Next, I am driving through town trying to straighten this out, from the title company to the appraisal district, trying to explain that I have never sold my house to Doug Floyd and that he is a crook! He wanted to own my house, and wanted me to be responsible for the property taxes. Well, i did get my house back, and today, its no wonder he never represented me before, when I was accused of violation of protective order that was place upon me in my own house!!! He kept collecting money when the Plano cops came to pick me up early morning informing me that I was not allowed to be in my home. The police just walked in my home and put me in jail. While this was taking place Doug T Floyd sat in his office, with his feet on the table waiting for the phone to ring, and hoping to make few bucks on me.
When I was finally able to call him while walking through the town from jail and still in my pyjamas and slippers... And having to miss an important business meeting: his words were: " How did you get out of the jail so quick?" I could not believe what I was hearing. I dont cry anymore, I try try not to deal with this with a grief of a child, but with a grace of a woman!
The point I am trying to make is that one should not, no matter how bad the situation appears to be, never accept a specific name of an attorney from a police officer. The police officer should always have a telephone book available for attorney referrals, so that the person has a freedom of choice for legal services. I myself, got Douglas T Floyd's phone number from Plano police. I think they work together scamming and arresting innocent people. This is terrible! Somebody must speak out, so I am doing it. What happend to me is wrong and unacceptable.
Now advice: If you are in a very bad situation that an attorney who failed you and you happend to get the name of the attorney from the police or some other trusted legal figure watch out! Nobody can help you to sue them. An attorney can not sue an other attorney. (I don't think they can). They might be corrupted and if it happens that you need to call the police for help you might get into a bigger mess. If you are lucky and are out not locked in Texas jail (because they label you crazy, hysterical and mentally impared, especially if you are a female) this is what you can do:
1. Go back home (if you still have one), take with you only what you need and get out of town into safety. If it is a life and a death situation do not worry about whether or not you are on probation or sanctions that have been placed on you. You have suffered enough! If you do get stopped by the police, in no circumstances call them mother*&%#%^4... Your situation will get worse. This happend to me. I got a felony charge. Not one but 2 counts.
2. Leave your pets with your neighbor or take them with you.
3. Call shelters for help. (If you cannot call the police, because they think you are crazy, you have warrants etc... And they will lock you up maybe even put you in solitary confinement).
4. Leave Texas if you can, go to any other state. They will have shelters and they will help you and protect you.
5. Call FBI they will also help you, are very nice and are available 24/7. Program the closest FBI office # in your cell phone, so its there if you need it.
6. Try not to escape to alcohol or drugs it will make your situation worse. You are mistreated and abused by corruption, its clear, however please don't abuse yourself. Help is on the way!
7. If none of these work, try going to an emergency room. They will help you too eventhough at this point you are probably in financial ruin. Don't worry about the medical bills this is an emergency. Take this letter with you if you cannot explain the living hell you are going through, that is caused by the bad attorney!
8. If you are worse of compared to US Citizen, for example your legal ID has been snatched or you lost it and if you are not locked up yet don't worry about your bank accounts, your house etc. You do have rights: Civil Rights and Human Rights. No one is born illegally. The issue is corruption, you may be being abused so that your assets can be stolen and go to somebody else. Get out of the State of Texas as fast as you can. There are even groups of attorneys throughout the country to help you - waiting for you to call.
9. Stand up for yourself an do not be afraid. Exercise the Freedom of Speech and other rights provided by the Constitution.
If something like this happened to you and you are totally stuck and do not even have any hope left even to continue living, cannot trust the legal process, anybody, please do not loose hope! There are a lot of good attorneys who care about you for you! Attorney's who place their clients interest above their own.
