Arnel is abosolutely the WORST company I have ever heard of or had any experience with. First of all their training and motto to their new employees is that they are sales based, not customer service based. They could care less how they treat you as long as they are nice enough to you long enough to get you to rent there. All of the employees with the exception of the brand newbies are horrible and will talk about you behind yout back. They have a VERY high turn around rate with new employees because of such behavior. My brother and i went in to the office and asked them to replace the carpet because if was old and stained and it was within our rights to do so. We also told them that when we moved in the counter tops were old. They didnt replace the carpet or the counter tops, intstead they cleaned the carpet and are now in the process of trying to charge us a TON of money to replace the carpet and the counter tops now that we are moved out. Our deposit was over $1000 and now they are saying that not only do we not get any of that back but they are charging us $250 for the move out!!! What in the hell could cost over $1200 worth in that apartment to fix, especially when the condition of the carpet and the counter tops were like that when we moved in to that crap hole! Not to metion they moved in these people above us that had parties every night. There were at least ten of them in that apartment at any given time. I am not saying I can prove this but I used to work for this company and after they fired me saying and I quote " I am not Arnel material" they moved those people in above me. Keep in mind that the property is not even 65% full. They could have put them somewhere else. Speaking of what they told me... One of the managers... Leslie something... I cant remember her last name said I needed to get my hair dyed and cut because I looked a little 909. I am a very pretty 26 year old and I had fallen on some rough financial times, particularty because of Arnel, and she pops off and says something like that. I couldnt believe it. I cried all the way to the salon she sent me too because the stylist I wanted wasnt good enough. There are countless other things that have happened with this company and not just to me but to others I know that are unacceptable. People getting ripped off and when they try to fight it they get the run around. People being put in the poor house because of bogus charges. Look at the lawsuits this company has already had filed against them! All in all, I know quite a few people who still live in that complex, and they all say the management is horrible and they cant get it together. They are mean, money hungry, and represent all that is skin deep and self serving. To this day I have nothing to say but bad yet truthful things about you guys to anyone I meet. Trust me I know a lot of people and I have convinced quite a few to not move in to your property. I dont know how you all can sleep at night and to all you newbies that just started or are about to start employment there... Good luck working for the devil!!!
