Officer bethune #265 has taken a oath to serve and protect the citizens of kingston and up hold the law. From my personal experience with this power hungry monster I can honestly say I would feel uncomfortable trusting police in this city again.
Officer bethune mistreated me by swearing at me when I requested his identification. This control freak refused to provide any form of identification, not even the simple buisness card I asked for.
When officer bethune arested his victum he closed the hand cuffs so tight that the man was begging him to losen them. I must say this as well the man he arested gave absolutly no form what so ever of resistance.
When I offered a statment of account to the incident that officer bethune was investigating I was told to go away. Out of outrage towards this SOCIALY FUNDED organization I personally went to the police station and demanded to be able to write a statment. I talked directly with the staff sergant on duty. Shortly after the man was released.
I must also report that the victum of officer bethune's rage was not read his rights, This is afforded to all canadian citizens, it is the law.
What scares me the most is the fact that I was not given any form of corective measures to be taken towards this type of police brutality. If I cannot trust the police who can I trust.
