I was hired to create a media packet for Family reach foundation a non-profit company that helps families with cancer. Since it was a good cause I started work immediatly without any up-front payment. What was to be a short term 3 week project turned into a 3 month ordeal. Though I eventually received half down for the project, the hours spent more than surpassed my estimated hours. I tried to stay positive as the client kept chaning their mind and direction. However by the end of the 3rd month i decided that this was more than enough. I simply told them that we had gone as far as we could and that I was not the right man for the job. Though the project was never completed by my hands their in-house designer was given the materials I had created. Alas the other half of my proposal was never received. I'm just posting this as a warning for any other people that try ot work for these people especially those who work as consultants and are dependent on these temp jobs for a living. DONT Do business with these people.
