I applied for my unabridged marriage certificate in October. I still have not received it after 2 years. I call every 2 weeks to the client services desk for updates and I have been to the local department of home affairs office on numerous occassions. There seems to be some "problem" on the system, but no-one appears to know what the "problem" is and do not appear to be interested in getting the "problem" resolved. I am very frustrated. I have requested escalations a number of times to have this addressed, but to no avail.
