I applied for my child's unabridged certificate in February this year, I was told I would get an sms in 3 months to collect, I have been there 3 times to check to no avail, 2 weeks ago i took it up with the supervisor, he then told me i would get it the next day, I went back today to see if it was ready once again it was not, I asked the lady then to phone the people who do it, she did and then I was told that my application had only been submitted 2 weeks ago when I complained to the supervisor, so therefore for 8 months my application was just sitting in the office and no one was doing anything about it, the eastern capes service delivery and everything is so pathetic, this is the kind of thing that makes people move out the country or to cape town where the service delivery is just better.
