ELECTRO OASIS IMPORT & EXPORTS LLC - JERRY CLEVELAND
Wire Transfers for Phones and Consoles, Goods Never Delivered

On April 26 I sent a quote request to Mr. Jerry Cleveland, at [email protected], for the purchase of 15 PlayStation 4 consoles, 2 iPhone 6S and 2 iPhone 6S+ phones. I had checked the website alibaba.com, which certified that the company Electro Oasis Import & Export LLC had existed for 2 years, and this gave me confidence to carry out the transaction. According to the quote the initial transaction was $3,550.00 USD. I asked him what the shipping costs were, and he told me not to worry about that because he would take care of it. The transfer was made to an account in the name of Thomas Gutkowski at WyHy Credit Union, United States. On April 27 the transfer was made from my Bank of America account and was received without problems. On April 29 he sent me the shipping data: Tracking Number 1461961444, tracking website http://www.acexservices.com/home.

On April 30 he informed me that he had shipped 45 PCS Sony Playstation 4 Plus 450 Games + 90 Controllers, 6 PCS Apple iPhone 6S and 6 PCS Apple iPhone 6S+. So as not to delay the shipment, I had to pay him the difference ($7,100.00 USD), but he never informed me of the shipment in detail. I accepted because I had the funds available and did not want any delay in shipping. From that moment on he kept charging me a series of payments for the shipping company, which has never contacted me. I always transferred to the same account the amounts of $3,550.00, $1,550.00, $1,824.00, $1,775.00, $1,500.00, $1,400.00, $1,000.00 and $600.00, each time being told it was to finalize the shipment. After I transferred the last $600.00, he told me that the money had to be reserved and transferred to another account of the person in charge of the shipping company. I managed to reverse the $1,000.00 operation, but Bank of America told me the $600.00 transfer was already effective and could not be reversed. Mr. Jerry insisted that I reverse it and transfer the funds to an account at Chase Bank in the name of Michael Gruber. I transferred $1,000.00, and according to Jerry Cleveland the $600.00 had not reached Mr. Thomas's account, which I do not really believe, because it cannot be that after several transfers it was not effective, while he told me that in two hours the merchandise would be dispatched.

Until June 9 Jerry Cleveland was in contact through WhatsApp (+14243820549) and he answered an email on June 13. Since then he has shown no sign of presence, and the shipping company has not contacted me. On July 4 a woman called Julia (no surname) contacted me and said she had no contact with the sender and asked me to verify the shipping address, which I sent. She then told me that to finish the process I had to transfer $960 to an account of Mr. Jimmy Agustin at Southwest Federal Credit Union, which I did on July 7. At that point, given my willingness to finish the process, they told me it was all that was needed to send the products to my home, which never happened, because they then told me I must pay a difference of $1,630 for CBP.

From then on I decided not to make any more transfers and began investigating the people involved. It turns out the merchandise never arrived in Venezuela because it never left the United States, according to the information I gathered. We are also confirming that the shipping company does not exist and that this is a group of scammers who rob customers by making them believe their merchandise is on the way and never arrives. Now, checking alibaba.com, it says the company Electro Oasis Import & Export LLC is verified with 3 years of verification. Is there an owner of the company who does not know what his staff is doing? What guarantee does Alibaba.com give that the company exists, if so far this man has given me nothing but email, and neither the merchandise nor the money is in sight? Where are the products going?
