My boyfriend and I purchased 2 phones from Metro PCS (in my name) and then added another line about a month later. We broke up and I called the Metro PCS 1800 number to change my security pin so he could not shut my phone off on me. They changed it with no problem but did not tell me that I could have a high security password or pin to keep him from making any changes to the account. Wouldn't you know not even 24 hours after I changed my pin, my phone was cut off. When I called a store the woman told me to call the 1800 number and they could take care of it. I called them 4 times and they told me there was a high security password on my account and I could not do anything about it unless I went to a corporate store. I live in Toledo, Ohio, the closest corporate store is located in Taylor, Michigan. They told me to take my photo ID and my phone in and they could make whatever changes I wanted! I don't understand how someone who is not myself can make any changes to MY account! This is absolutely ridiculous and I will not be doing business with Metro PCS anymore.
