I recently traveled to Cabo, Mexico with my Sprint Iphone 4s. I always take my 4s with me for photos, but turn the phone in airplane mode because I don't pay for international charges and I have my iPad with Wifi to communicate if needed. While in Mexico my iphone was stolen. When I realized it was stolen I called to have the service stopped, it was stopped. When I got home I was eligible for an upgrade, so I bought iphone 5 and had to pay for activation (even though I am a current customer for many years and had my previous phone stolen) WHen I received my bill there was $229 in charges for international charges which were obviously from when my phone was stolen, Sprint was helpful in no way to help with these charges, nor were they willing to take away the activation fee for a new phone, instead they just want to lock you into a contract for another 2 years. Very disappointed in their loyalty to customers.
