I purchased a Brand new sprint iphone 4 from a individual off of craigslist. I was informed by that individual that the phone had an CLEAN esn and that everything was absolutely right with the phone. I took it upon myself to go ahead and purchase the phone which me and a friend met the individual at a local mall and I purchased the phone. After I purchased the phone about 3 hrs later I tried switching my current number over to the iphone, come to find out I ran into a huge problem with sprint telling me that i couldn't switch my number to the iphone due to the fact that someone else name is on the account of the iphone. Sprint explained to me that either the person sold the phone because they are no longer going to pay the sprint bill, Its a stolen phone or someone lost that phone. I had a bad gut feeling about it but I guess I was to anxious to even go with my gut feeling being that i been wanting a iphone for the longest. I can honestly say that I have learned my lesson.
