I have been an iPhone owner for some years and lost faith in Apple over the iPad 3 and their lack of innovation.
After reading much about the court battles between Apple and Samsung I decided I would look at Samsung for future mobile phones. I have had good experiences with Samsung products especially televisions.
The new Galaxy S4 reviews peeked my interest and appeared to be a real important technical step forward with mobile phones.
I pre-ordered the Galaxy S4 from Telus in Canada and since I had used the 64gb version of the iPhone I was concerned about dropping to 16gb but no choice of buying the larger Galaxy. I have a law office and do not play games but usually used about 32gb on the iPhone.
With all the comments by Samsung about the benefit of the microSD card I also purchased a 64gb SD card thinking that would help.
Little did I know that the claim of 16gb advertised by Samsung was totally inaccurate and, in fact, the is about half of that available for installation of applications. The SD card will hold music and videos so I understand but the phone does not provide enough space to install my business application.
What was Samsung thinking of? To manufacture what I consider is a great phone and then not make the public aware they will need at least the 32gb version is sheer folly and will cost Samsung so much in sales.
I now have a four day old phone I can't use and have to pay for it over the next three years and who will even buy it at this point.
Even if I want to throw it away and buy a 64gb version where can I buy one? Do they really exist?
