Cricket SUCKS! I have a story for ya. Back about 12 years ago they took $2190.00 out of my checking account (or tried too) for a 21.90 bill. Their fault. It caused lots of problems with my checking account and for months I was unable to write checks to the grocery stores because it went out on a bad check report. It was awful. Yet... Because at the time they were the cheapest I stayed with them. I have now been a customer with them for 14 years. They call me a V.I. P when I AM able to reach an agent. (lol)
The most recent complaint is this: I had a second line added for my son. He doesn't use it so I called them to cancel in february. The guy says oh no! You are loyal we'll give you a free months service plus give you 3 more free mos on your son's line if you keep it. So I did. (dumb ass me) I got one month free. Next month comes they charge full price. I tried reaching an agent several times, couldn't get thru its like an hour process doing this anyways. So I paid the bill. Bill comes this month no discount. I called to cancel the line. They said yes, they show where I was offered 3 free months and if I keep the phone they will honor it. I asked only they credit me back the last month I paid in full and cancel the phone. Nope they wouldn't do it. I asked for a supervisor... Got "Charlie" he said nope since you are cancelling it anyway he wouldn't do it. I got upset told them what I thought, that once I was established in this new town I moved too I would be finding another company. Used the words crap and sh*t and he hung up on me. (must have delicate ears) WITHOUT CANCELLING THE FREAKING NUMBER!!! I had to call back, get another agent listen to all the BS again and get the line cancelled. I will be leaving them this time! They wanted to squabble over a 45.00 credit that to them is nothing but to me is a weeks worth of groceries.
I am posting on every blog I can find about Cricket they don't give you any information on how to lodge a complaint with them nor does their website.
