I haven't lost any money, it is just an inconvenience to receive spam texts. I have unlimited texting, but not everyone does, which means that this could lead to higher cellphone bills for people. Additionally, it takes up a lot of time and energy to sort through the texts and get rid of them and there is no apparent solution to prevent them.
