I started receiving texts from a "951" area code that said I won $1,000 and go to Targetcontests.net to claim my winnings. I knew I had not registered for a drawing anywhere. The number changes with every text, however, the area code is "951" for the messages that I have received. Within a 24 hour period I received 7 texts from them. I called Verizon to see if they can block area code "951" and they cannot. The only thing they can do is give me a credit for the "951" messages since I donot have unlimited texting.
