Icame up with an idea, took it to ISC in San Antoino Texas back in February the person I spoke to advised me that I had a very good idea. As far as he knew there was nothing like it out there, my sister was with me he asked me if I could pay for a patent search becasue the piliminary one he did came back negative. If I can remember correctly since it has been so long ago and several bad thing has haven since then. It would be about 5 to 6 thousand dollars to complete a search for a patent, I advised him I did not have that kind of money so he advised me to make monthly payments which I did.
In about 2 months after I turn my idea over to him I was told by a friend of mines Clorox had a simlar idea, this is just to close for comfort. Contacted the person was told since I didn't do a patent search was nothing I could do. So I stopped paying but they had completed a book for me of all the companies that would purchase or could use my idea, I have moved since then and am trying to locate the book they prepared for me. I would like to know if I didn't get a patent could they still sell my idea to someone else, thank you for your assistance.
