My husband has been a victim of this company, after receiving the card and realizing that the card is not honored any place else but on their web site to make purchases, he decided to return it for a refund of $279.00 which he paid by money order when he received the card from Federal Express. We typed a letter and mailed it via certified mail along with the credit card and telephone numbers where we could be reached.
It has now been over two months and no one has contacted my husband and every time he calls and asks to speak to someone he gets the run around, has never been given a claim number, can't get someone who speaks english, and the operators are very adamant about giving out any information as to who we can compalin to or as to who is in charge of handling these type of issues.
My husband has called one of the local Spanish TV stations here in Los Angeles, California (channel 62) asking for assistance and they informed him that they have received several telephone calls like his and provided him with a telephone number where he could call and become a part of a Class Act Law Suit against Capitol Platinum Card. Please help us and all the other people who have been victims of this fraudulent company recover or money and help other from becoming victims of the same scam.
