I just read the rip off report on Linda Patton and I believe it to be mostly true. We have checked the Jackson court and she was sued and lost, a judgement of 650.00 was ordered against her and her mother.
I don't believe she was old enough to be doing those things in the 60's, but does often brag her mother was a breeder in the 60's of dogs and that is most likely where that came from.
Linda Patton is no longer aloud to rescue dogs in the county of Jackson and has been banned by the shelters there.
She was fostering dogs for a rescue group and adopted out a mastiff to a family with a 2 year old child. The dog attacked the child and when the parents contacted Linda about the removal of the dog she refused saying "it was not her problem".
It was Linda who screened this family and KNOWINGLY placed the mastiff with a 2 year old in the home. She is no longer a rescue or foster.
Yes her place is clean and the animals very well cared for but that fact does not discount PROVEN court documents of theft.
She did breed a Boston knowing it had a past litter with clefts and then registered the remaining 2 uneffected pups from the last litter and sold them as "show dog quality".
