I google searched for a pair of boots. I ordered online at a sale price of $165.00. I could not track the order or the company after I placed it.
They charged my account for the purchase plus shipping at $180.00 total, but never sent me an online confirmation of my purchase with the order information.
After waiting 10 days I was sent an email by the payment platform that my payment was being refunded minus $10.00. No information about the order or what had happened to the boots. Why weren't they sent?
They also billed my account for another $5.40 for international processing. There was no indication on the website that it was not a US company.
Apparently they never had the boots to sell in the first place? They ran the charge through my account immediately, but never had the product to sell online?
I also really wanted the boots and passed on a few other styles in the interim because I thought I was receiving these.
Very frustrating and makes me not want to take the chance of ordering online again.
It seems impossible to track the company or find out if they really exist. No order information available. No confirmation email of the purchase from the seller to track the order. Only a confirmation of funds taken from my account by the payment platform processing the funds.
