I received a text stating that I won a $1000 gift card from Targetcontests.com... All I needed to do was go to the website, enter the winning code and claim my prize within 24hrs. I don't remember entering a contest for one. My husband works for Target and I cannot enter such contests; however, I wanted to look into this further. We did and the website was down. Then we saw links such as this reporting a scam.
