I received a text message stating that "Your entry last month WON! Go to TargetContests.com and enter your winning code 53822 to claim you FREE $1000 Target gift card within 24hrs." I went to the website and it wanted me to input the winning code. Looked like an official Target promotion. However, there was a count down timer for me to enter the code. While the timer was counting down, I opened another window and looked up targetcontests.com on google and found out it was a scam for phishing. I didn't continue to enter in the winning code but I feel like there will be many other people out there that wouldn't hesitate to enter the code. I just wanted to report my case to make someone aware that this company is still scamming.
