I received a voucher in the mail stating I would receive $2,000 over Kelley Blue Book value for my Nissan Maxima, from NissanWorld Dartmouth. The General Mgr and Ass't Mgr inspected my car and advised me the car was worth $19,800 plus $2,000 from Nissan HQ.
I asked them if this was a scam and told them I have four cars and just wanted to sell my Maxima. They advised me it was not and kept having me come back for 30 days. Finally, last Friday, they told me the voucher was only good for a trade in.
I took two days out of work to go there on days to sell it to them and this is nothing but a con job, a scam, false advertsing and a waste of my time.
Can we do anything against this type of false advertsing?
