I received a "FINAL AWARD NOTIFICATION" letter detailing how my name was chosen, along with a check for $2580.00 made out to me, with instructions stating that I must call a number (listed on the letter) in order to activate the check before depositing it to my bank account. "Please call your Claims Agent Ms. Brenda Downing on 1-450-369-0412 to activate your check and start the claim and remittance process of your prize". Further, it read: Please note;check cannot be cashed or deposited before activation. I deposited check, withdrew funds after 2 days and sent them agent designated by Ms Downing.
Check came back to my account (unpayable). I now owe my bank (actually Credit Union) $2580.
