BEWARE: Scam letter that reads $2,342, 000.00 pending cash disbursal awaiting claim and payment. This Payment Pending Memorandum looks to be legally official. The letter requests $20 be mailed to FAA by certified bank check. It goes as far as to note the following: per promotion regulations and applicable federal and state laws mandate that all such funds must be paid by certified bank check. Also, the scam letter states that all funds a complete accounting of these fund has been audited, verified and prepared for me; there is no mistake the letter states.
