On about 10/24 i met this woman named Darlene Moore through an online dating site., long story short, in a months time she kept complaining about financial problems, i helped with small things like groceries, phone and cable bill, but she had a much bigger problem, she had gone to a title company and put the title down for cash, she kept crying on my shoulder about me paying it for her, she kept saying she would pay me back, just had to do it soon before the title company would pick up her truck. She had hid the truck from the title company. Well iagreed to help, providing she would pay it back, she said yes, that she had friends that owed her money, and would also give that to me as well. So we both went to title company, even lady at title company was told that darlene would sign title over to me when she go title back from state. After we left title place, i took her to pick up her truck, she started telling me about mechanical troubles with truck. I looked at it, told her why she hadn't told me about the troubles before hand. I would not have paid the money. So she said can it be fixed, i told her yes, but i could not do any thing to help in mississippi, my people that could fix it were back in louisiana. She again cried out that if i could fix it she would pay that also. I told her that when the title came in it would be best to put it in my name until it was paid back, she agreed. So off to houma, la. We went, on the way the truck died, i had to take her to my house, get my recovery trailer and go pick up the truck, i took it to my house, i worked on her truck most that night, got it back running, and the next morning Saturday the 27th, i put in a mechanic shop in Houma, La. (Chabill's), they did there majic and fixed the truck. After leaving the mechanic shop i had to put gas in the truck, (she, Darlene said she had no money), so i filled it up. At this time i received a call from a family member that my uncle AJ was passing away, my presence was needed. So i went home to change clothes and go to hospital, while i was getting dressed she (Darlene) asked for money to go to store and she would cook something while i was at hospital. I only had a 100 dollar bll i could let her use. I went on to hospital, i stayed with family for about 3 hours, my uncle did pass on. When i returned home she (Darlene was gone. Her things she had brought with her, clothes/little dog, was all gone, i tried to call her over 10 times, she would not answer my calls.
In short i was played/used/abused.
Now she will not respond straightly to me. She is texting me back sometimes but not responding favorably. I tried many times to give her a chance to do the right thing. She won't.
