Unknown charge for $29.95. My wife was viewing our bank activity online when she spotted this discrepancy. She called the number, 1-877-886-0144, on the check conversion voucher (we can view cancelled checks and other photocopied documents online) to question this. The woman told my wife it was for a website subscription. She told the woman that this was incorrect. The woman then told my wife that they would credit this. She even told my wife not to call the bank to dispute it since this would lead to us being credited twice. The check was written 9/21 but didn't clear until 10/31. This seems to be done on purpose since the closing date from our last statement was on 10/28. Had my wife not checked online, we would not have been made aware of this until we received our next statement in the mail a month from now. They said to give them 3-5 days for the credit. Not waiting. Calling the bank as soon as they open. This is nothing but a scam.
