I had requested from the Accounts dept for a settlement figure on my account and wanted to change this account to a pre-paid one.
I had paid this given settlement amount to them immediately.
A few days ago while while applying for a a home loan, it was brought to my attention that there was a value of R600 outstanding and I had been listed on ITC.
I had received an incorrect settlement amount from neotel.
I had received no emails, calls, invoices from Neotel regarding this and went to the Cedar Square branch where they could find any outstanding amount.
They advised that this happens to many people and I should ignore it.
I contacted the attorneys, paid this new settlement figure in order to continue with home loan application.
I had queried this with Antonio at Neotel head office only to be told that they cannot help me by removing my name from ITC and he is so unprofessional and unhelpful.
This is not my fault and it is due to pathetic incompetent staff members.
I will never deal with again and I will broadcast my bad experience to everyone I make contact with
