On 10/09 I was contacted by Eric Funston, via e-mail, that my loan that I applied for had been approved. I was to look over the welcome package with info regarding the loan, then I was to call my loan consultant. I spoke with a Brian Murphy, due to Eric not being available. Brian then e-mailed all documents necessary to sign, in return I did so, and also e-mailed my pay-stubs, cancelled check and copy of drivers license. I received a confirmation e-mail back, from the "funding dept" on 10/24, that my creditors insurance policy was now set up and awaiting activation of $695.45. This was to be an insurance coverage that covered for involuntay unemployment. I did not have a co-signer, so if I wantd loan I had to pay this so-called insurance fee, which was to be refunded after loan was paid in full. I funded a Greendot moneypak for the 695.45 plus 4.64 activation fee. Called Brian with my moneypak number and faxed him proof of purchase. (reciept from place of purchace and moneypak card) Brian told me my funds would be deposited into my account on 10/29. They were not. I called multiple times only to get voice mail. This certainly came at a bad time for me. The money that was to be loaned was a step in the right direction to help me with health bills that insurance does not pay. Now I'm further in debt and wonder if I will ever see my money. It might not be much to some people, but its alot to me.
