Customer Service Horrible - DirecPath

I have forced DirecPath service at the Regency Woodlands Apartments (because they have the EXCLUSIVE provider contract) and at least once a quarter I have to call because the bandwidth is slower than molasses. When I called on Satuday 01/07 DirecPath advised me they were cutting off my service because my bill was past due. When I asked to speak to Supervisor Jose #01798 (jerk) he related that it was my problem and I needed to call my bank. I have the electronic confirmation that payment was sent by my bank. He related it was not his problem and I needed to call my bank. He told me this five times "to call my bank" and if I wanted my internet service reconnected I had to pay up. When I asked him if he would look up my account he would realize I have been a DirecPath customer for 24 months w/no late payments. He advised me all he could see is 3 months worth of billing. Are you people serious??? You would think to give a customer the benefit of the doubt ONCE and actually allow it to be resolved on a Monday during normal business hours and let me have my internet. I was forced to pay the money via a credit card just to get my service turned back on and I had to go through 4 DirecPath people to make it happen. Then you jerks try to talk me into upgrading my internet service??? Seriously, after this? If your business did not have the monopoly in this apartment community I would have switched services yesterday! I have already paid you TWICE NOW! However, I bank with USAA as a member of the Armed Forces you people will give me an apology and refund my credit card.
