We hired the AMERISTAR TAX CENTER last January to handle a state tax and federal tax issue we were having after the sale of a business. That was 10 months ago, and we received a levy on my husband's paycheck 2 days ago, October 22. This was from the state issue we were having. To date, nothing is being done about the federal tax issue. We were called on October 18, and told that we were getting the levy by Ameristar!!! This morning, October 24, we were again called by Ameristar and asked if WE had gotten our state issued levy handled! We were then told that now they could begin to try and work on our federal issue!!! My point is this; these people are nothing but liars and thieves!!! Do not walk, but run from the ameristar tax center!!! We have been lied to repeatedly, and when we question them on anything, we suddenly have an entirely new group of people handling our case. This is what they do to stall for time!!! We had to pay them $3,330.00, and we had to then pay 30% tax on that money because we had to get it from my husband's 401K to pay these low lives!!! These people are scum!!! I do not know how they sleep at night!!! We have turned our case over to the Attorney General's Office in an attempt to recover what we payed them. That is in full swing now. We want them ultimately to be closed down. They should not be allowed to rip the public off!!! My deepest sympathy to anyone who has attempted to do business with the people!!! Contact your ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE and seek help!!! The more people that do this, the harder this will be on them!!!
