A young lady came my door and told me some story about how she was trying to raise money for college and that by me purchasing a magazine subscription it would help her out. I said no at first but then thought that I had the opportunity to go to college and I had a little extra money from working extra shifts so I decided to help. My check was cashed a short time after but I never received my magazines. My daughter was outside with me, so she knew that she was scamming a mother.
