When I was hurt while working out, I went to a doctor, who wrote me a note to give to my gym to quit working out due to a problem with my hip. They put me on a list to review in 6 months. And froze my account so I could return if it got better. After a month my doctor told me if I continued to work out with my hip in this condition, I was risking surgery. So once again I went back to the gym, and gave them the letter from my doctor. They said someone would contact me with in 3 days. No one ever called. After a week I called them. I asked for a refund on my money I had paid up front for two years of gym membership. They said they do not give refunds to people who pay cash. So I looked at my contract, and it states that if because of a medical reason I am unable to continue my membership, then my money would be refunded. I called again and told the manager what my contract said. He said there was no way it said that. I mad a copy and sent it to him. I have not heard anything from him since. I have called and left messages twice, he has not returned my calls. At this point I do not know what to do.
