This mobile mechanic charged me for repairs that were not done properly, and refuses to fix the problem. Told me to find another mechanic. There was a terrible misunderstanding about his charges. 1) Labor costs at first was $150.00 plus diagnosis of $45.00 2) changed his mind when we told him that his charges were "too much" 3) lowered the labor to $90.00 plus parts 4) when we gave him checks for the job, he indicated because he did not have a bank account. The bank would charge him $5.00 for each check. We gave him $10.00 more. Come to find out he should have deducted his diagnosis charge of $45.00 from the total bill. This was not done! We were taken advantage of because we were two older ladies. So, now I have to find another mechanic to fix the problem and pay more charges for that! What a rip off. Too bad his business card only had 1) his business name: "The Mobile Mechanic" 2) His name & phone # (Personal Info Removed), and 3) his affliation with the "Automotive Service Excellence"
