My family made the mistake of hiring Home Depot to refinish our kitchen cabinets. The cabinets were destroyed. They are sanded out of shape, they are rough to the touch, there is a nail sticking out of the wall, stain is all over the walls, appliances were scratched and damaged and a whole list of other damage. The contract signed includes a warranty that Home Depot will fix damage due to poor workmanship. We have been in touch with the Home Depot Escalation team for two months now trying to get them to fix the damage. They say they will "lightly sand" the cabinets. How does sanding rebuild the wood that was sanded flat?!? They won't give us our money back or take our issue seriously.
Never give them any money! They will not honor thier warrantys or contracts!
