Alberto Bazante Correction Officers recieve free legal assistance for personal issues at the expense of the taxpayers

I have just been told that a friend's Ex husband who is a corrections officer at Nassau County Jail is recieving free legal counsel for personal legal problems, and that this is a common "benefit" provided to corrections officers? Is this, yet,
another scam on the tax payers of Nassau County?

Details: His name is Alberto Bazante, and he has been provided "Pro Bono" council for Family Court proceedings (child support issues, etc). I find this to be an outrage, and a misappropriation of my tax dollars, especially considering what
this man earns in "double-time" etc. He earned almost $150,000 last year!!
