Called out repair on our A/C unit and the repair tech replaced a part on the unit. I was charged for the service call, labor and the capacitor my cost $160.00. I looked up the capacitor and the costs ranged from $3.50 to $24.50. I feel that I was ripped off. I do understand mark-up 2,3 4 times but this is a ripoff. I called to complain. The owner told me that that is how he makes a profit on a job and that expenses of running a business were so high that it was the only way he could survive. He did give me refund of 10% of the bill $32.00. Companies should not be allowed to steal peoples money in this way!!
