Refinanced our mortgage because we had an adjustable rate with AmTrust Bank, Ohio on 12/28 to a 30-year loan for a fixed rate of 6%.
On 04/01 they modified our loan because we went through hard times to 4% spread the loan out over 40 years and put a ceiling on this for 3 years to go back to 6%.
On 04/01 the rate went back to 6%. We are upside down and are not eligible for the HARP program because this is not a Govt. Owned loan
