I received a telephone call on my land line service... They did not know my name, they proceeded to tell me that some serious viruses had infected my computer and they were calling me to help me before I lost valuable data... I thought it was my protection service that I have already... I followed the instructions, and I lost complete control over my computer... Now the person was all over the place opening ports, and the screen was black and white and the files were fast moving in front of me... They detected many warning and dangerous attacks to my computer... They kept me on for a long time... When finally I asked just who is this... And what is the bottom line here... They were selling a service to correct my errors... For the tune of $499.00 for one year... I said send me a email with all of the details. They did not have my email... That is when I hung up the phone... No email ever came... I called Norton which is my provider for protection and they instructed me as to what I should do... IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE THAT I SHOULD KNOW??? Please Help? Thank you... Diana
