October 12 I came to USA from Israel to visit my children and grandchildren. My son told me that he did not sleep for several nights and has a headache. October 13 was the Birthday of my grandchildren, my son was the same as always ate well and so on. I invited him to go to the doctor, because of what he said to me about his problem and are on October 14 went to the hospital, where there is also a clinic for patients receiving. Approached the reception desk and explained the situation, they sent us to the emergency department.in the emergency department was asked what he has chronic disease, he explained that he has Crown disease and Hepatitis B. I was there too and explained to all who ask the same thing about his illness.in the morning he was taken and I thought then that he had discharged what is medicine or tablet and sent him home. The next day I brought him chicken soup and he ate and he said that is very tasty. I asked him what he wants to eat tomorrow. He said that he wanted to blueberries. He also ate a good hospital food. Continued since then with 2 days. On the second day came up to me and to my daughter the Russian speaking doctor, and clearly told me in a language that I understand very well, that my son has a brain tumour and that this cancer with metastases. He said that all doctor are convinced and confident to 100%, so we do not worry they will do every thing for him. Mean while my son said it is clear that doctors scoff an him, that he can not be any cancer. And my son warned doctors and told them several times that he can not do Chemotherapy for the treatment of liver problem. If it were possible to do Chemotherapy, he would long ago have been treated in Israel. On the second or third day to my son had done Chemotherapy, that lowered immunity. On the next day after Chemotherapy came a different medical staff and they said that my son has to sign a power of attorney to further treatment. My son has signed a “Power of Attorney” his mother and sister. Managed to sign the document - “Power of Attorney”. It was the last day when he talked. It is non stop spinning around his body and he could not speak. We did not understand what's going on. At this moment the Russian doctor came up to us and asked to go to his office. We had four people: the Russian doctor, woman-speaking English, my daughter and I.interviewed by the Russian doctor (manager of department). The first thing he asked me:”If my son has ever had cancer called “Carcinoma” of the head and or done Chemotherapy? ” I told him that I am a mother and I know for sure that my son never had cancer and he never did Chemotherapy, because it was impossible for him to do Chemotherapy (problem with liver). We warned doctors about it. Then he asked what other diseases have my son. I said the same as in the emergency department, Chronic diseases Crown and Hepatitis B. He said that the doctors prescribed treatment to my son and he felt worse. And they are forced to transfer to another floor in the intensive care.in the intensive care was treated intensively and as a result of unknown treatment, he stopped breathing on their own. I told the nurse that my son had trouble breathing. But the nurse said that he has all right, despite the fact that it is very difficult to breath air. Only after a time she understand and called the people to put the artificial respiration machine. Son was in the minds and understood everything. We each exchanged gestures. He pressed my hand and could not talk. We were shocked, because we have come to the hospital our feet, with full memory, with a good appetite and with a good speech. What happened we do not understand? We were with him on period every day.in the intensive care department on the third day the doctor-oncology (Russian speaking) came up to me and told that my son did not have cancer and they made mistake in treatment. When he wanted to leave he told me:”All people do mistake and you too, not only doctors”. I didn't know what to say. All the time changes practice doctors or students. Each one of them said that he treating my son's doctor. None of them the unknown exactly what my son is sick. Only after a long time told me that my son has an infection. They don't know what kind of infection and know not how to treat. I showed my son's medications are taken from Crown's disease, that may affect the infection. But doctor-pulmonology flatly refused to look. She said that they try it on different antibiotics. When they tried to treat him the more, my son getting worse, because they did not know what kind of infection my son has. Doctors missed the valuable time of life my son. I was allowed to take samples from the bronchus to detect infection. Test results no one knew, because often changed doctors. They said they did not know the test results and the type of infection. I am trying to know what kind of infection. Doctors have shown negligence to treatment. The doctor came to me with the nurse (for translation) and said that he had never met with such diseases and do not know how to treat. He stayed in the intensive care unit for 2 month. Then he was transferred to another unit. After 2 days of treatment in the common room with my son was bleeding and it disconnected from food, continued to experiment with treatment, medications at the discretion. Came to different doctors or students and all said that they are treating doctor of my son and none of them did not know the details of health or medical history. From another hospital was contacted with Dr. Margulis by phone and she argue with them, obstacles and say so that they refused to accept. On by this moment she gave an indication to turn off all medications from my son, who supported the health. The day my son became worse, he almost died. Later she became a required permission from us to surgery of a biopsy. She said that my son would died if he does not do the surgery in a few days to see what a kind of infection. I later understand that turning off from medications, the signature of the surgery, deterioration of health bullying - is the reason not to transfer to another hospital. I was forced to agree to a biopsy to save life my son. Unfortunately we understand later that after consent for a biopsy the Dr. Margulis stopped the process transfer to another hospital, not informed to us. She promised us that process to transfer will be done. She has already replaced by another doctor. Hospital is very interested to entrust their discretion without experience and without certain knowledge that they gain experience. At this hospital do not have neurosurgeons. Therefore forced to invite from Manhattan hospital. Appointed day of surgery biopsy. We waited for the end results. Came to me and my family the doctor - surgeon and his assistant and explained that biopsy is not done due to breakage and damage of the device. They just made a hole in the head for leaking fluid. Fluid was not pure and it's a good fact, the neurosurgeon doctor explained me. At biopsy will be done, when the device will be repaired. It took 10 or 15 days. Suddenly after 40 minutes take out my son from surgery room and said that the surgery biopsy did not take place due to breakage of the device. They can not risk to work on a broken device. Health began to worsening. Through time and the third time my son has a biopsy, but it is unknown if the device has been repaired. After 3 days the patient understood and answered only through with his own eyes. No one has taken no action. After 10 days the patient made an X-ray head and he had a bleeding in the brain. Never had a blood transfusion. It was necessary to do so. My question is why they do not do a blood transfusion. First blood transfusion was made only after 3 month. Then they called the haematology doctor. She said that his liver produces proteins and prescribed injections.
An important addition to medical treatment since the early days. Doctors claimed that my son has cancer in brain with metastases name Carcinoma. Later revealed that there was no cancer, no metastases.
Verifications of blood and liver showed that the patient would not be doing Chemotherapy, reason of Hepatitis B and Crown diseases. Lowering of the immune system, treatment with 9 antibiotics inactive after Chemotherapy incorrect diagnosis and treatment, many medical errors led to the death of my son. After the surgery brought my son out from surgery room in a terrible condition with a open big hole on the neck without bandage, with blue thread and with a protruding crooked tube. After surgery with critical condition patient should have been not sent to the intensive care the to regular general room with other patients without bandage. More than a week my son stay in general room, with different infections and pus from hole in the neck. I demanded to have a bandage, but it was too late to start inflammation from infection in serious form. Doctors and nurses indifference attitude to the patient brought more infections than were my son. Situation was compounded.
Doctors and students changed each time. No one was responsible. Nurse responded to my demands that the hospital for students who practices on patients with no experience. Doctor Fasilov -surgeon, before and after surgery did not come to me. Doctor made a hole in the neck so mush than even. Other doctors came in and corrected, but it did not help.infection and the liquid was poured continuously. I realized that this surgery did the students. If I knew that this surgery will worsen the health condition would have never allowed to do this surgery. The nurse had to remove the liquid from the neck and mouth. The nurse do only when I demanded to clean, when all flowed and polluted. Physiotherapy did not ever on patient feet. The patient on his feet wore a special belt, but so not connect to the machine. The belt was dirty from the fluids that gave more infections as well. After connecting the respirator to my son no time has passed without problem.By the rule the medical staff required every day change the tube in patient mouth for a new, change the position of the tube from side, clean mouth, handle the sores. They do not want to do. For 20 days did not do. Once day I saw that my son's face was stretched and curved.inside the mouth was plastic that not to close the mouth and belt to keep the tube. I called the Respirator therapy and explained the problem. She refused change tube, side and repair belt. I wanted to complain about her (name Hopkins), but she ran a way from me and I was immediately surrounded by a group of nurse and social work. They threatened me that will not let me come to my son. I must be silent no claim, do not shoot video, not photographed. If I make a complaint, they will call the police. That happened same thing with my husband. They accused him that he pulled the tube from the patient's mouth. When he came to the son's room, was out of the tube. Staff called the police. Then the staff member said later, when the nurse changed clothes the patient the tube fell outside and staff leaving did not pay attention. If the father did not came - the patient will be died. Father explained that, if he wanted his son to die, he would not run out and did not call for help.
Medical staff not given medication on fever, not drip into the eyes, are not process treat on the ears and body (my son have much pressure ulcer). Did not call a dermatologist, eye doctor, do not take any action.in intensive care my son has been connected to eating 20 mg per day. At this dose and multiple antibiotics can kill even a healthy person. From beginning we have been warned that my son have disease Crown and the patient should be taken Rafasal, but they ignored me. 10 days before death my son (after 3.5 month), came to me Gastrology and said me that my son have gastritis. I said that no gastritis, that Crown's disease. Then Gastrology said that he will prescribe a medicine Rafasal. Without this medicine can not live and will be problems in the gastrointestinal tract. From first day in the hospital we asked give Rafasal to patient.
A few day before death my son, told me that my son have bowel volvulus and need to do X-ray (test chem) without contrast. They (doctors) called me to home. I asked about this procedure. They explain me. I want help to my son, because them warned me, that my son will be died if them does not do test chem with contrast. I gave permission for the procedure without anaesthesia and without contrast color. My son had done second time at night without our permission. Doctors unexpected that his father would come and see the patient. That procedure did the students to half-dead patient. I was strongly opposed to the students performed the procedure. This was required in advance. We spoke by phone with Dr. Sayer. Staff working said that at night when that no relative, students pick up patients for procedures, X-ray, and etc., to gain experience. What were examined did not introduced into the computer. All that were surveyed, the results we have not received and not been reported. We always wondered about the results.
We do not know if it all done. Because all that was done and gave treatment worsened the condition of the patient. All questionable.in the morning, I asked an explanation from the doctor. He told me that they can do whatever they want. After the incident, doctors or students suddenly appointed an enlarged blood transfusion and enlarged amount of food at a time. The patient was with 2 door and the doctors did not come every day for check up the patient and walked past the room. One night my son felt bad condition, decreased blood pressure, I asked the nurse to call the doctor-cardiology. She did not call the doctor. But the patient was deteriorating. I ask the nurse more 20 time, that she not call the doctor. The doctor came in the morning I was told that the patient was bad. He looked at his computer and said that nothing about the worsening condition.
Such example was a lot. Began our torment from the beginning. Example: The patient was in separate room in the intensive care without air and conditioning. The air was very heavy. The patient was wet from sweat, as if a bucket of water poured on him. If asked to change clothes morning, then changed clothes in the evening. The weekend did not change. After intensive care department he was transferred to another department (in 7 floor). The department on 7 floor for my son was hell. On the 7 floor, my son was in a small room, where it was not possible to turn. There was no place for the necessary apparatus for such a seriously ill patient. It was not possible to have X-ray machine or device to save lives. The room was the air cleaner.inside was an air cleaner, who published a powerful siren sound 24 hours a day. Machine sucked the air and threw the dirty air from the wall where there was a big hole, crumbling wall. Without the bandage after surgery were free to any infection. My complaints and tears of all staff and social workers to protect the rights of the patient was not taken up. It is a tragedy when you see how hard it is ill son - patient that can not speak, move, can not complain. Windows in the room is not opened. Fluid from the patient's mouth and neck cleaned many times the same dirty tube. After my claims the my son was transferred to another room.in the room medical staff all time turn on high level air conditioner and the patient suffered from sore lungs. Position of the patient on the bed was horrible. Paralysed patient did not change the position, the head subsided and lay askew. There fore the patient was pressure ulcer. I cried and asked to social worker name Lana (speak Russian) for help. I explained to her that a patient can not lie in the same position throughout the entire hospital stay. She listening and go away. Nothing to do. Medical staff refused my request, the patient himself can not move and relatives are not allowed to touch the patient, scaring that staff call to police. I demanded to replace the bed on the bed for the automatic movement of the paralysed. Doctor said that it deals with a senior nurse. Senior nurse answered me in a rude manner, that they no have bed for my son and if I want I can take my son to home, in critical condition. I demanded a transfer to another hospital. Called for me the chief of staff. She explained to me that it is engaged in a special group which changes the position of the patient. She gave us a phone number where to call. We called and them were told that every day will come person named David, who will come to change the position and handle the wound. Only 3 times we have seen David and more he did not come. Requests from our family to create comfort for the patient who dies. For my son there was no treatment or no comfort. Mother lost her only son, relatives, we were shocked in a soulless environment of doctors who do not have the professionalism and simple human compassion.

The patient's life depends on the proper disposition respirator and people who do it.in most causes, had to look respirator therapist for patient in critical condition. Some time they forgot to connect some details of the apparatus - device. One from a respirator therapist connected the hot air, the other cold air, and the third disconnected liquid in device, so that the patient was breathing heavily.incorrect operation of the device and the connection signal (more 1 hours) is issued. No body action taken for signal for help.
Once the doctor came up to me and said that all patient in this department have diarrhoea. The medical staff used same devices for 5-6 day in patient mouth, that clean liquid, devices no changes. Unsanitary actions lead to infection of new infections. I asked to call immunologist doctor. Medical staff refused me, because in the hospital don't have immunologist.
About doctors in the hospital.
In all department each of month doctors and student-resident has changed. All called the themselves doctors. Came one doctor to us, we explain only to one about the patient. After came second, third and etc. Same thing, we explain but none of them did not know the history of disease my son or response from the different studies. They looked into the computer and could not give a full response or no records in computer.
After biopsy, the my son-patient was paralysed, because the surgery was carried out with non-working device (machine). Only after biopsy to my son did X-ray and staff told me that my son bleeding in the brain.

Why it can not be seen at the time when it happened and to take during the action. A week later comes a doctor, and says that he is the doctor of my son. Then 10 days later came another doctor. The weekend is not have doctors in the department for an emergency.
Once I saw that my son very swollen testicle. I demanded to call the doctor. He explained, that the patient does not have enough protein. Only after the patient is added to protein was result positive. If doctors were checking every day it did not happen. From the prone position the patient had a fever and lungs were given sore. We asked the give medicine for fever. Patient can not complaint, he had severe pain, could be determined in his breathing. Staff gave the baby medicine. The nurse are not able to connect the unit to measure fever.
Doctors said that my son does not understand and does not feel. But my son was conscious and understood, only he was paralysed. He could answering his eyes, voice-sound. I wanted to stay with my son every night, but the staff drove me. And give permission for one time only and the creating a problem for me. My daughter could not come every day, she had four children.
About died.
A women (Marina Ivanyuk) came up to me and said that she my son's doctor and she want to speak to us. We were with her in the office the 9 floor. She said that she is engaged in its treatment my son. She asked me what my son's illness. I just said that he had Hepatitis B, she stopped me and said that Hepatitis B it is HIV. I was surprised that the doctor believes that Hepatitis is and HIV the same thing. She invited us to kill my son. My son was fully conscious. We were outraged and flatly refused. But the offer was repeated which led us to further experience (worried) and emotional trauma.
We have shown that communicate with the patient. They laughed and went away, thinking that the patient does not understand. My son did not want to talk with the doctors. He knew that the doctors killed him. From the beginning have been properly diagnosed and properly treated. HIV is not AIDS, it was possible to prolong life. Medicine for HIV were given to my son only after 2 months.
In this hospital did not help, even in pain or fever. They put a small green mattresses on the fever at the back. This was an old mattresses with large spikes. Before his death, was replaced by a new white mattresses without spikes. I do not understand how a patient with only skin and bones, could be lie on such mattresses. He could not say how he hurt. How could mock seriously ill and paralysed person. His death shocked the entire Jewish community. Me as a mother of an only son was shocked what I saw in the hospital. Our family has received psychological and moral trauma. Our pain is incomparable to anything else. It can be cured with the right approach. It was impossible to do chemotherapy. Doctors have not listened us. Doctors made a mistake in the diagnosis that my son was oncology (carcinoma) which was not. They are assigned treatment without a diagnosis.
